Tatum Long Travel

This 2001 Sand Demon built by Tatum Motor Sports is owned and operated by Rob and Cheryl Willhelm. Rob figured a 2332cc VW engine with dual Weber carburetors and a Pyramid bus transaxle with 930 CVs and Gear 1 disk brakes sounded like a winning combination. He was right. This car runs great! The chromoly tube frame is protected by a layer of Forest Teal powder coat and perfectly matches the gray Beard seats. Fox Racing shocks support both the front and rear while providing a comfortable 18 inches of travel. Other parts Rob has added include Auto Meter gauges, Hella lights, a billet aluminum steering wheel, rack and pinion steering, and aluminum wheels matched with a healthy set of deep scoop paddle tires.
