This buggy was owned and operated by my father Earl Bryan. Earl built this Water-Pumper from the ground up in 1962. This was a real head turner for it's time! Earl used a 322 cu in. 'nailhead' V-8 engine out of a 1956 Buick Road Master, with 24 in. straight pipes bolted to the heads for exhaust. Earl originally built this buggy with a Fiat radiator but soon found out that he needed more cooling. A much larger Ford radiator proved to be the answer. Earl later added another set of hand grooved knobby tires to the rear which improved traction and stability.
