Custom Yamaha Banshee

This fully custom 1997 Yamaha Banshee is owned and operated by Bobby Wheelington. When Bobby built this bike he did it right. This bike has been stripped down. The frame swingarm was given a metallic purple powder coat and all yellow plastics. Lots of chrome and billet parts have been added including a Duncan Racing chrome front bumper, chrome axle carrier, billet stator cover, billet water pump cover, front and rear billet reservoir caps, billet throttle and fuel caps, chrome radiator grill, and Renthal bars. Bobby doesn't believe in building bikes that are all show and no go. Some of the engine modifications include a K&N filter, twin 34mm Keihin PJ's, Pro Design intake, Duncan Racing reed cage, Paul Turner National porting, Pro Design Cool Head, PRO-X pistons, Paul Turner midrange pipes, FatBoy II silencers with billet exhaust clamps, and a Hinson clutch basket. A Toomey oversized radiator and Duncan Racing billet water pump impeller help keep this bike cool on those full throttle hill runs. When your bike accelerates as quick as this one, it helps to have your suspension just right. Bobby had added chrome +3" wider & +2" forward a-arms, PEP fully adjustable triple rate front shocks, and the rear shock was rebuilt by PEP to match the front. Two 50 watt handle bar mounted billet lights and two 35 watt frame mounted billet lights along with a billet red tail light powered by a 200 watt stator were added to help out with those dark nights. If that isn't enough, Bobby also gets this bike around on polished Douglas wheels with Razors up front and Sand Skate II's in the rear. If you see Bobby out in dunes, stay clear of the ROOST!
